      Starlink isn’t publically traded, so they don’t have to publish anything, so obviously they don’t. Any forecast is going to be a best guess based on market numbers and public info, and that’s probably why they only report revenue, that’s a relatively easy [number of customers] * [average price per costumer] + [other income] equation.

      It’s MUCH harder to work out costs, especially since Starlink’s major expenditure is launching rockets, and SpaceX similarly isn’t reporting anything. It’s too bad they don’t say anything about it, since profit is a much more interesting number. Making 12 billion by spending 13 billion is easy. Making 12 billion by spending 11 billion is a LOT harder.
