I mean most of the money was going to red states and the governments there aren’t exactly rational people so I’m sure the drug their feet trying to take the money without having to admit that progressive policies were why they would be less of a shithole and take full credit for progress being made.

Honestly, the very malicious part of me that wants to see those red states that were disproportionately beneficiaries of these progressive policies get all of this yanked from them under Trump.
