I met a member of pinkbike before, and got a chance to ride two of his bikes. Those things were absolute beasts! One cost him around $8500 to custom build, the other cost him around $6500.
Sure that sounds ridiculously expensive for bicycles, but he had top notch highest grade frames and equipment on them. As he told me, you ain’t gonna take a 50 foot ramp with a Walmart bike without the bike snapping in half when you land and sending you to the hospital or worse… 💀
