If I’m not careful my sleep schedule will slowly start to rotate around the clock. I’ve done a full cycle on two separate occasions and it gets really weird feeling, but the hardest part is the social aspect. First, people have zero understanding and get weirded out by it. Second, it’s very difficult to keep any sort of social schedule when your sleep schedule shifts too much from the norm, but I suppose night shift people already have that issue. Also, not really knowing when you’re waking hours will be several days to a week out can be really frustrating.
Sleep issue suck and most people who have never experienced them before think it’s super easy to fix by just being in bed at a set time, getting a weighted blanket, or some other silly suggestion they may come up with.
