If there’s no prior consent it doesn’t happen. As much as a step up in education is needed were fast getting to a point where “I didn’t know I couldn’t do that” doesn’t pass the pub test.

Even if meeting up with a couple explicitly for sex; the very least that should happen before hand is a conversation, in person, to make sure everyone is onboard (and you aren’t about to get in bed with crazies). How you rock up to someone house with a woman already unconscious and think “yeah cool, this all seems above board” is wild.

This article is pretty over the place ranging from porn habits to Tate. Though the quote of randoms about how they think less of men due to events like this is borderline offensive, it makes a point. If society allows men like this to go unpunished, men cop a drop in regard because of it. Which is something to strive against.

Porn (imo) shouldn’t come into beyond the “desire” aspect the writer covered. You’re not banging a porn star very likely, so there’s no grounds to assume they’re going to be into porn star level sex acts. That assumption doesn’t change before a conversation or two and enthusiastic assent at least. If too many people decline then it’s probably time to reconsider your porn intake.
