I quit playing 4.0 and am going to wait until CIG returns and fixes stuff. Patch was alright in the beginning, with finally very nice FPS and server FPS. As more people came in it became a hot mess though. Unable to complete missions, hangar door hell, black screens, freight elevator errors, unable to QT anywhere, etc, etc. Game looks gorgeous and server meshing looks promising. I hope they can get it in a playable state next month.
This is a good call I think. I’ve been playing more than I have in a long time and seem to have gotten pretty lucky with the bugs. I’ve had to adapt my gameplay a bit though.
Hopefully CIG gets some fixes in in Jan.
