It’s also from one of the great “story albums” in hip-hop were there isn’t just a theme tying it together, the entire album “a grand don’t come for free” tells an over reaching conclusion.
It’s one of those things you really have to listen to begining to end a couple times to really get it all. That type of stuff just isn’t present much anymore.
And obviously worth mentioning it’s over 20 years old, and still holds up.
There’s like 1 or two lines in that really reveal the whole story too if you’re paying attention.
Love this album, from start to finish great storytelling. And banger tracks throughout. Thanks for posting!
