Sad to see the end of a 13 year run.

Didn’t this just happen out of the blue? AAA has been in my podcast feed pretty much since the beginning of the show and I really can’t believe they decided to shut it down 😭

It was in the red, didn’t bring in enough as revenue.

Did they explain why they ended it? I’m currently listening to it so maybe the reason is coming up. I’m a loyal listener and so a bit devastated and shocked that it wasn’t announced in advance.

It’s one of the most engaging shows I listen to so I’d be surprised if it was because of a shrinking audience.

That sucks. But I can understand how Twit as a business model would be very difficult to make profitable. All the other podcasts I listen to simply supplement another medium, TV or digital print. I wonder how many other Twit shows are affected given AAA was such a stalwart.

It was a good show for android users like me and the lack of good alternatives indicates there isn’t a market for this type of show. We’re probably still in the early stages of losing the things we’re used to having because they’re no longer economically viable.

There was a time when there were a bunch of Android podcasts. But I think as Google has made Android more “boring” the interest for these has faded.
