And 60 years after the first Dodge Charger, the name finally bears some relevance to the car.

As in “I’ll be right back honey: I need to plug the Charger to the charger.”

4.7 s 0-60mph is pathetic for something that’s making 496 HP and isn’t a truck. Not a fan of the sound either. EV’s are genuinely the superior technology for pure performance, but this is sad. The Model Y, which is about half the price, can hit 4.8 s 0-60 with 384 HP, which makes me thing this a weight problem.

Its crazy, they can make the car make whatever sounds they want but Dodge wants to use sound effects from a Nintendo 64 and Kia wants to make theirs sound like a whiny 4-banger. Like how are they fucking this up so bad? Make it sound like a lambo or a cammed SBC or a fuckin Skyline, or anything interesting, please.

I was wrong on the price discrepancy with the Model Y, but even the performance model on the Y is cheaper than the R/T and gets very close to the Scat.

Holy moly, that’s weak tea. My wife’s hybrid xc90 would not struggle against that. Bummer, but then I don’t expect much from the twice failed company. Man, remember that weird product placement spot in Breaking Bad? Still think about that when I see those cars.
