Palworld is enjoying a nice resurgence after the release of the Feybreak major update with a huge increase in players. Going from around a regular 45,000 players online to around 200,000 concurrent players. However, Valve have dropped the rating the Steam Deck Unsupported.

    It eats the battery pretty hard and sits at 25 FPS. But installing Steam Deck Essentials fixes everything. With the mod installed the game runs at a steady 45 FPS and is easier on the battery.

      If it was only a performance issue I’d expect it to remain at Playable. Plenty of Verified titles guzzle battery and get barely more than 30 FPS at minimum settings.

      Unsupported is generally for games that literally won’t run, often because they have DRM or anti-cheat that isn’t compatible with Proton.

      I feel like this may have been a mistake on Valve’s part.

        It must be. I played it for a few hours yesterday on Steam Deck. 🤷‍♂️
