Signed by all of Pantera; or so I’m told, never did figure out if/how I could get this authenticated.

Found this listed on Kijiji well over a decade ago. Buddy didn’t really know or care who Pantera was, story goes that he won it in a radio contest when they toured here (that bit lines up, the date he gave was the only time they came here, and there was in fact a radio contest for a guitar). Anyway, I figured the guitar was worth the money on it’s own ($500!), so hell, why not.

Don’t know why the photos got rotated…

I got to ask, with all those signatures on there, do you actually play the guitar? If I had a guitar signed by my heroes, I would be deathly afraid that my sweat would wipe away the signatures

Oh good god no, I never touch it. I have it mounted up high on the wall where not even the cat can reach it. The signatures would absolutely rub away, the one on the bottom has a slight smudge already (I’m assuming from the seller, but it’s been so long it very well could have been me when I was younger and dumber)

It would actually be an incredible power move to gig with a sweet guitar covered in smudged signatures from a famous band that you don’t really know / have an appreciation for. Still, I’m glad it made its way to you, thanks for sharing!

Get that shit authenticated. JSA would be an example of who could likely authenticate it. That’s a helluva find.
