    Remember when South Africa said they would arrest Putin if he came there to visit the 2023 BRICS summit? They upheld international law at a high cost. Now the Poland flushes it down the toilet.

      Auschwitz is the German version of the name of Polish town Oświęcim where the camp is located. Poles and many other people too specifically says “Oświęcim” when it’s about town and “Auschwitz” when it’s about camp, to signify who’s responsible for the camp.

      Also fun fact, the Polish name means “we will sanctify” in archaic Polish
