    any of the makers just need to roll out a car with marketing like “too simple to spy on you” and get them out to reviewers with the know how to prove it, and people like me will come out from nowhere like bugs to drain the inventory

        Even if it’s true, if the automakers can’t collect data on you, and also get the biggest profit margin possible (read: big expensive cars cost about the same as little simple ones to produce), they aren’t going to make them.
