    Whats the point of wearing a tie to a job like this? I wish humans were more logical. The tie is just a stupid traditional fashion accessory that serves absolutely zero purpose.

    I say this as someone who has to work in a place that requires “business casual” (no ties), but it’s not logical or necessary. As long as it’s not distracting (12 inch tall fluorescent green Mohawk, bikini thong, etc.) I should be able to wear jeans and a t-shirt.

    Dumb traditions and illogical rules are dumb.

    I’m one of those people that throughout the day sits in about 10 different positions, 8 of those being things that Health & Safety wouldn’t approve of.

    But still looking at this is making my back hurt, it’s wild that people would work 8+ hours like this before office ergonomics were a concept.
