My "documentarian" neighbor

My elderly neighbor clearly has “photo journalist” leanings and has decided to document every aspect of our property and lives at all times. She will slow drive by out property filming the property trying o see in windows, deliveries, literally anything she can. She has now gone to the point of doing regular slow drive-by’s multiple times a day.

We have tried speaking to her about it but she will just storm off or yell abuse.

Anyway we are now building a privacy fence. Out of site out of mind :-)

I either way am confused how the american standart is to have no fence

Doesnt that make your whole yard unusable because you cant do really anything without a bunch of people comming by and staring?

Depends on the neighborhood. A lot of people know everybody on their street. You will usually see the privacy fences in neighborhoods where the houses are very close together, and people in those neighborhoods are usually anti social. In rural areas it’s considered more of an eyesore to have privacy fences
