To be fair the Poles have a lot more to hold grudges about. We basically just fought our one direct neighbour and also ourselves for most of a millennium and then eventually our king inherited their throne. And then we kept fighting them and each other for another hundred years. There was a bit of a thing with Norway early on, and we invaded Ireland that one time, but we’ve been too out of the way of everyone else in Europe to get in that many fights
