Gee, whyever would he think that? Could it be because he’s been breaking the law for years and years, and nobody’s done anything about it? Because he staged a fucking coup, and the DoJ rolled over? That he’s essentially been issuing open threats to anyone who opposes him, and everyone’s capitulating? That he’s openly accepting bribes and everyone’s just opening their wallets? No, couldn’t be any of those things.
Meanwhile, anyone who has previously opposed him has stepped down or stepped away from their roles in basically full and utter shame after accomplishing nothing. Years of bluster and screaming about smoking guns, all swept away because they wouldn’t do anything. They wanted their role and positions of power, and when it mattered, retreated to be nothing more than a cowardly footnote soon to be deleted from history by the current regime.
How to Ruin your Legacy 101: Written by Jack Smith, Merrick Garland, and Co.
Smith had his own shortcomings, but agreed not nearly on level with fuckin Garland. He was a face of the Trump opposition who also resigned without results or prosecution, though. The clock was on the wall, and whether or not it was moving too fast or too slow is neither here nor there. I don’t think we will remember the details of appeals or tactics used in time, but the result of the case and the return of Trump to power. Whether those details are lost or deleted remain to be seen.
Biden could have given instruction to make this the highest priority and arrested Trump on day one, which is what he should have done. Trump committed treason at the highest level, and Biden normalized it.
Yeah, and a bunch of people voted for him. They did that because a bunch of social media psyops convinced them of a bunch of nonsense. So I don’t think they want what he will do. But, he wouldn’t be wrong to conclude he has a mandate to break the law. I think if you asked the average Trump voter if Trump can break the law, they would say, “Of course.”

I don’t think Smith is to blame here. Garland 100% though

Instead they waited 3 years until after he’d already secured the Republican nomination to even file charges.
All this fucking talk about DEI moral panic and yet these utterly fucking inadequate politicians get do-over after do-over because its “their turn”.
Sick to my stomach over them.
I wish he could have just moved forward unilaterally
Maybe next time…lmfao
Yeah, but u know, Biden did what every other sitting president including trump did by supporting Israel, so they’re basically the same
Not to mention the supreme court ruled he literally can’t be prosecuted.
Yep, he’s been breaking the law since the 70s and hasn’t faced any accountability for all this time.
