Its probably way faster that an RPI 5 and has an M.2 slot.
I’m laughing at how the promo art depicts this as a perfect wireless device, with no power or HDMI or anything.
The manufacturers clearly realised if the promo art showed reality, it would be immediately obvious why nobody wants to use a mini-PC as a thick-ass touchpad, with a bunch of cables and junk dragging all over your desk.
They don’t show it because the weight of the HDMI cable tilts the whole thing upward
It’s like an Intel NUC, only shit.
Why?
So you can write a program that makes it moan when touched
Help me I’m stuck in the for loop step-brother
Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudddeee :(

Well shit, maybe I’ve got the cash after all
If you have a multitouch trackpad, you can have one flat object that can moan when touched, given appropriate software.
If you have a pair of Valve’s Index finger-tracking controllers, you can have any object moan when touched, given appropriate software.
Github link nao.
Crazy hypothetical… Even a toilet?
Especially a toilet.
I am glad no one has done that for laptops so far.
That I know of.
Though now that you mention it, that’s a good use for the IBM trackpoint.
Someone already did it, and it’s pressure sensitive. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
You can’t just say that and not link it! https://github.com/wttdotm/nubmoan
Compile with gcc -o mouse_tracker_2 mouse_tracker_2.c -lwinmm -lgdi32 iirc.
