I know I’ve wanted younger people in government, but I was hoping for people in their 30’s or 40’s. These kids can’t even rent a car legally. I’ve got a feeling that they’re just puppets.

Speaking as a former puppet: all of Capitol Hill/much of D.C. is run by 20-somethings like this, precisely because they’re easy to manipulate.

B/C 20-somethings are ideologically more malleable and essentially going through political puberty as they are becoming full-fledged adults. I remember I was still mostly parroting my parents’ views at that age, and am glad I grew.

You can rent a car at 18, at least in Colorado and California. I’m pretty sure it’s everywhere though

25 is usually when you’re not considered a high risk driver and your insurance rates are supposed to drop.
