Not many details of how the adventure went at the link, but this sounds like a hell a fun trip.

I really, really wish e bike makers standardize on a plug and charger so you don’t have to carry a bulky charger with you everywhere. Or if yiu are with someone else using a different bike, only one of you would need to bring the charger if it was universal.

Also the charger themselves are rather huge. The charger for my bike is almost as big as the battery, so i rather bring another battery than bring the charger.

I think the industry needs to move to some level of standardization.
