minus-squareTrollceptionlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·16 hours agoIt’s the biggest generational uplift in the last 10 years. Not sure what you’re smoking.
minus-squarePup Biru@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·edit-215 hours agoit’s a 30% uplift for 30% more power budget and 30% more cost. the fact that they added a new version of frame gen etc that has both up and down sides is pretty much a wash
minus-squareriodoro1@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up7·2 days agoWhy the fuck are they standing in line waiting for one? Consumerism really fucked up our brains.

minus-squareneon_nova@lemmy.dbzer0.comlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3·2 days agoI do t think so, I’m not an expert or anything, but I think money laundering is typically done where you can pay cash. The idea is to pay cash for something so that you can show a receipt of a sale and deposit it into a bank. If you are buying online, then the money is already in the bank.
minus-squaredeltapi@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up6·edit-22 days agoThe sellers, friend. They buy the GPU cash and sell it online for a clean transaction into their account. 5k laundered per sale
minus-squareShinkanTrain@lemmy.mllinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3·edit-23 days agoI dunno but it’s a good time to capitalize on that eagerness and buy a used 4090 from one of them
