Summary
North American companies are facing uncertainty due to Trump’s recent announcement of tariffs on goods from Canada, Mexico, and China.
While some companies, like automakers, may be able to shift production to mitigate costs, smaller companies without global operations are more vulnerable.
Industry associations and experts warn that these tariffs could lead to higher prices for consumers and disrupt supply chains.
As a Canadian, I can’t help but point out that our retarded leaders brought this on themselves.
We spent the past 10 years falling over ourselves to be the people who hated orange man the most, and now we’re shocked that he doesn’t really care to be nice to us.
And every single person who ran on the conservative ticket was magically “Canada’s Trump” up to and including Poilievre, and it was meant as an insult and an attack. But a lot of Canadians actually sort of want a Trump right about now. Even Erin O’Toole, who lost the election for being far too lefty was “Canada’s Trump” to them, because “Trump” is just a synonym for “Evil enemy” and now we’ve got 25% tarrifs incoming.
