Nice video and music choice! Do you know what those medium-sized almost spherical creatures that are moving around might be?

Nettle mentioned that you are looking for recommendations on what to put on your descriptions. My recommendation is to add the name and author of the music and the technical specifications of the microscope, lenses, and the equipment used to record. The technical details are useful to others to get an idea of the amount of zoom and also to learn the kind of images that a specific set of tools can produce. If you have some thoughts on what the different microbes observable in the sample might be, it is also nice to include that. No need to worry about getting the identification wrong, just mention what you suspect them to be, and this invites others to help you identify what you are looking at. Or, if you have no guess, you can also ask others to help you identify.

Ah yes I am pretty sure they are a ciliate of some kind, but I may be wrong. Identifying is so hard but so fun because then you can read up of the fella. We’ll sometimes, sometime there is no info. I follow one of those medium guys in this video while much more zoomed in: https://youtu.be/2z2_Qvzrc98?si=48PnJ7nB1lTx9e43

Also I write all the music. I’ve been pumping out music at an insane pace for these and its been a really fun project. I feel myself learning lol.

I set it all as creative commons so that anyone could use any of the videos or music if they’d like.

Also, yeah I can totally put my microscope specs in the description and maybe a zoom multiplier in the corner of the video.

Its always nice to see one of your videos, (much better than some clickbaity science news article) You asked in your description of the video what we think should be in the description, i think it would be nice to know where you got the sample from/its story as well as what we might be looking at.

I liked it like this in your previos videos e.g. spagnum one, and I think it makes it a lot more intresting.

Thanks!! That makes a lot of sense. I’ll totally add a description of where the sample is from. One of the most fun parts for me has been seeing how the world around me just has a lot more going on and it’s all been right here. Makes ya think… Algie floating on a reservoir can have a whole ecosystem steming from it, and then get hit by a jetski.
