It’s the rotting flesh that’s the problem! The slug just goes straight through with minimal resistance whatsoever. Last time it went through and ended up shattering one of my garden gnomes, and the damn beast just stood up on its hind legs and walked away unscathed… it was one of my good garden gnomes too…
If your shotgun ammo isn’t very effective, you’re getting the wrong ammo. A 12 gauge slug will easily go through an inch thick reinforced glass.
