I was implying that if hitler had taken it over, we would have been able to denazify it like we did with Germany. Instead we got a ussr and russia that’s high on their own egos attacking sovereign foreign nations.

It’s an acknowledgement that the Nazi ideology whose pure and highest purpose was industrialized genocide, not even as a means but as an end in and of itself, was uniquely horrific and damaging.
