I don’t have the time or energy to care for me even.

    You’re doing the right thing by acknowledging your situation and not getting a puppy now. Been there, it’s hard. I hope the time will come when you’re able to have a dog, and I’m sure it will be a very good one. In the meantime, have a photo of Lotta, my BMD, rolling in the snow.
