Hey, I’m pretty new to the concept of the Fediverse and would like to explore it more. I do think I know how it works, but I was wondering this: is there an all-in-one app for it? Say, one that allows you to browse Lemmy and Mastodon at the same time, and possibly even more platforms?
FYI, I’ve created a Google Sheet to try and keep track of the various Kbin & Lemmy apps in development. So far, I’m liking memmy for IOS. Haven’t tried any of the Android clients yet. Curious about Artemis.
Hi. I haven’t come across any such app yet. But it is very convenient for me to use RSS. You can combine all your Fediverse streams and not only in one.
RSS looks interesting. But it doesn’t allow for posting and communication right?
I wouldn’t think so.
Depending on which RSS app you’re using, but in any case, this is currently the most convenient way to combine all feeds from Mastodon, Lemmy, Hacker News, and even the still-alive Reddit:)))
I haven’t found a Lemmy app for iOS yet. Far as I know there are a few in development but all in the Apple beta program you have to opt into. I’m just using Safari for now! It’s early days yet, I’m sure we’ll have good options in a few weeks.
I’m on Android so I have Jerboa. For an all-in-one app it would be great to have desktop and mobile, but supporting the two is quite a lot of work.
There’s an app called Fedilab that supports multiple fediverse networks, doesn’t support Lemmy yet but there’s some requests
