    A Liberal/NDP coalition already looks like it would soundly beat the Conservatives… and the momentum is currently behind the Liberals.

      Do you mean a pre-election coalition? That would be awesome, and would only need to be done once if they can use it to reform the electoral system.

      I worry that the conservatives would be successful attacking it as ‘undemocratic’. Similar to how electoral reform referendums keep failing.

        Since Trudeau’s absolute trash approval ratings and subsequent (forced?) resignation from party leadership is still fresh in Liberal minds, I suspect that IF they form a coalition, and IF they win the next election, they will be far less likely to brush off a grass-roots push for electoral reform.
