Doesn’t flashing mean it’s currently misfiring?
I agree that you need to pull over because you’re gonna ruin your Catalysator ($$$) but the oil pressure light is definitively more scary as that means your engine will at the very least seize if there is no oil pressure.
In general it’s a misfire, but the cause could be a lot of things, some more damaging than others. I’ve had one before and couldn’t figure out the problem that caused it, but was able to restart, drive it home slowly, and not have it still flash, although I think it threw a code.
