I’ve been posting the link to lemmy.ca wherever I can, like over at YouTube for instance… and I wanted to make sure that’s ok before finding out it’s not for some reason.

      Hey there, me again. Would it be a good or bad idea to try to get Lemmy mentioned in some news article(s)? I don’t have connections or anything, but wouldn’t mind trying… could write a few emails. I don’t know how much attention you want to draw to it, so just a thought.

        while we are happy that you’re willing to help spread the word around about us, we would recommend just getting to know the site and the users and the community a bit more before getting too involved in promoting the site. thanks though!
