The death toll from flooding in Kentucky rose to 11 on Monday with the potential to increase further as the state was due to get pummeled by a snowstorm that could jeopardize relief efforts, Governor Andy Beshear said.

Search teams conducted more than 1,000 rescue missions in the wake of flash flooding that affected nearly all of Kentucky and several surrounding states on Saturday.

Hundreds of people were displaced, more than 14,000 homes and businesses remained without power and another 17,000 had no water, Beshear said.

What I would like to see happen is trump stiffing them on aid and a bunch of people rethinking their vote as a result.

What will probably happen is trump stiffing them on aid, and a bunch of people worshipping him even harder while finding some way to blame democrats for the situation.

edit: typo, and the realization that what I would really like is for those people to get all the help they need regardless of who they voted for. Dunno how likely it is to happen, but fingers crossed.

Most federal tax revenue comes from blue states and I don’t see Trump having an issue with taking that and giving it to all the red states. It takes integrity and logical consistency to actually live up to your word, and Trump has neither.
