So not sure the process on transferring communities across Lemmy but since some unforseen issues mean I can’t mod as much, I’m looking to transfer ownership. If anyone knows the steps or is willing to get things going then message me and lemme know.

I’m also willing to do that with all the ones I got but UpliftingNews is the biggest one and I don’t know how many I can send at once.

    I would start with posting in that community that you are looking for a mod or mods. You can then elevate someone who posts in the thread to moderator. You may need to use the web interface, as not all apps have mod tools.

      I’d been doing that first and it was recommended to check here alongside it. I’m also on the web interface; no mobile, though if a different webUI has more tools then I’m unsure of it.

      Sure. I got a buncha communities I mod that could use it though not sure if one per post is better or if just gathering what I can into one works.

        Try to bundle as much as possible, like into topics. For some extra valuable communities like HL, mirrors edge, firefox css and consoles - feel free to create independent posts for these.
