For those who don’t know what gender abolition is. Gender Abolition, also known as post-genderism is the belief that gender stereotypes are harmful and restrict people’s ability to present the way they want that makes them feel happy. Gender abolitionists seek to eradicate gender stereotypes and restrictions associated with them to create a more free and accepting world.
For clarification, Gender abolitionists do not agree with TERFs or any similar rhetoric, anyone from those groups claiming to be “Gender Abolitionists” or “Gender Critical” are not real gender abolitionists and are appropriating the term. Real Gender abolitionists believe that people have the right to bodily autonomy and self-identification. That means in short, Gender abolitionists respect and stand up for trans rights.
