I propose a compromise: election day is now moved to 14th June (Trump’s birthday) and that day will be a federal holiday. This new holiday will be called “President’s Day”, which is absolutely 100% a reference to President Trump and no other president and has nothing to do with the fact that it will also be the day that the presidential elections will be held. The federal holiday that previously would have been observed today will be instead named “Freedom Day” in honour of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.
Sorry, but due to new management, your work is now classified as “essential” and you no longer get Stat days, also your pay is cut by 50%. Just be thankful you have a job 😉
