I guarantee you when your average lower-middle class, NASCAR-loving, paycheck-to-paycheck-living MAGA voter fails to receive their tax refund check, can’t go camping in Yosemite or eats spoiled food because the agencies in charge of those things don’t function properly, they won’t say “That’s okay, I’ll tough it out in the name of hurting the libtards.” They’ll turn against the orange buffoon and his South African sidekick faster than you can say “I told you so”.
If you have read about the Belarus, Nicaraguan, and German dictatorships of our time, you’ll see how despicable populations really can be. In these situations it really is as Werner Herzog says, 1/3rd of the population wants to kill 1/3rd of the population while 1/3rd is happy to sit by and watch.
