    What are they doing about the giant thread of fiberoptic leading back to them?

    It’s got a huge length, do they just wind it back up and hope no one can see where it leads since it’s hard to see?

    Also looks like that’s dramatically improving the video quality

      The video quality is because the cable can carry the bandwidth without disruption or interference

          Yes. Everything’s a compromise. Staying in the same position for a long time is risky regardless.

            Does it not make sense to at least try to recover it to not expose it though or are they just abandoning it entirely and maybe leave it booby trapped if someone follows the cable?

              I mean I’ve seen pictures of Ukrainians setting up punji sticks in abandoned trenches so I’m guessing old dugouts would be trapped as well.

              Shoot n scoot, but also with a common exit for the cable id imagine they control one end and can at the least attempt to retract OR disconnect and get out
