I’m honestly more shocked that the CIA and other alphabet agencies are evidently sitting back and letting orange man rip apart their internal mechanisms.
The CIA isn’t the KGB. It just doesn’t have anywhere near the domestic power necessary to attack the executive. At best (or worst, depending on what shit the CIA is doing at any given moment) they can resist the orders of the rest of the government by obfuscation and denial.
