I’d like to move all my business away from Walmart, and their pharmacy is one service we use often.

While I know there are “lesser evils” than Shoppers, they are walking distance away, and that’s important to me.

Can anyone share their experience with Shoppers for their pharmacy, and even better would be from anyone who’s switched from Walmart Pharmacy to Shoppers.

Thanks in advance.

Update: Thanks for all the input, guys! I ended up going with a local pharmacy. The dispensing fee is about $1 more than Walmart, but they offer free local delivery if I can’t get to them, and the person I spoke to was super nice about answering my questions. Sounds like I dodged a bullet by not going with shoppers. LOL

I stay away from the big pharma companies. I use a little family owned pharmacy and get a good deal and support a local business.

Yea, I always go to the local pharmacy. There are so many good little local ones, and they have so much better service.

Shoppers also has the worst dispensing fees and is owned by Roblaws. Galen Weston already has a nice enough castle (I’m not even joking).

Agreed. I love my pharmacist but I wish they weren’t IDA (owned by McKesson) 🤦🏼 only optional in my town are Shoppers, IDA, Remedy… Our IDA pharmacist has saved us more than once especially during COVID.
