I’m doing my own research on the disease. Not that I’m scholastically or intellectually able to grasp microbiology or have any concept of epidemiology other than this YouTube channel that tells me things that make me feel safe, but I’ll be damned if I let some college kid tell me what’s real and what’s not.
Some might say it’s cutting off my nose to spite my face, but jokes on them, I already had my nose removed due to a fungal infection I got from using shoe polish and mayonnaise as a cure for warts my cousin told me he heard worked. Real shame about losing my cousin a few years back, never did find out the real reason for it, hospital would only say it was COVID to cover up for whatever it really was.
What’s important to me, poor, uneducated and with no control over my life or outcomes in a world around me is that someone gives me an outlet for all my frustration, and if I’m lucky I get to watch them suffer. It’s all I’ve got.

He stopped at a Buccees in New Braunfels? You should lead with that rather than the universities.
As a recent expert on NPR said, “If a person with measles walks into a room of unvaccinated people, 90% of those people now have the measles.”
But I wanna hear from the non-experts.
This is borderline in need of a /s. A staggering number of people think being self-taught automatically makes you smarter than a highly-educated person.
Oh lord, we’re boned
tldr - is RFK Jr going down to check on this? Breathing deeply and shaking hands all 'round?
I was really hoping that area of the texas NM border was isolated enough that it would stay contained :/
Right? And why was this person going around while infected. Doesn’t measles have pretty visible symptoms? I just read the timeline and I was at the riverwalk the day after and the bucc-ee’s they were at 10 hours later. Thankfully I got re-immunized recently (2 years ago) so hopefully that’s a lot better than having been vaccinated as a kid.
Because these kinds of people are developmentally incapable of thinking about their actions beyond how it immediately impacts themselves
If I understand correctly, measles can be very contagious 4 days before rashes appear (through respiratory droplets from coughing). I think a person could mistakenly think they just have a cold or flu (or Covid) before rashes appear. It can also have a ~12 day incubation period without symptoms (but I don’t think it’s very contagious before symptoms appear).
This makes me want to get my titer drawn for sure.
