We have to agree where we ARE before we stand a chance to agree about what we do from here.
We have to agree where we ARE before we stand a chance to agree about what we do from here.
What else do you call someone who wants the government to have all the guns?
I’d call the very premise American, because only Americans think that way. Other countries like mine have national bans in place and don’t suffer from the things the US does like indiscriminate public shootings. In fact, we hope for fewer guns out on the streets in the future because it works.
Unfortunately, the source of the guns on our streets refuses to ban them over hypothetical scenarios at their own and our own expense.
This mirrors the health insurance with privatized healthcare problem as well. It’s one of the few things the US got wrong and it brings them so much pain but they’re proud to keep doing it that way even though everyone else figured it out.
In Germany, it’s literally against the law to insult politicians. The UK is the most surveillanced country in the world(except China). Scotland still has blasphemy laws.
I’d much rather have guns than lick boots.
You’re grossly mischaracterizing… Everything. You’re lumping all those laws together in one single category and blaming a highly diverse political group for it. It’s misguided and naive. Also, that’s not what bootlicking is.
It’s not.
It’s not.
