But as someone who did a lot of union work in Germany I can assure you that a lot of companies do not give more than the mandatory 20d for a 5d-week.
Technically four weeks aren’t 30 days.
With 20 workdays off you can go in vacation for a month. At most companies you have more than 20 days even.
Most companies in the US will not be okay with you walking off for a month in a row though.
