Honestly? I hope it was someone else but I don’t know enough about the situation on the ground to say either way.
Practically? Cops are so corrupt, incompetent, and power hungry. that they’ll say/do anything to the person they think is the criminal.
Personally? I hope he beats the charge and it inspires thousands of other people to do the same.
