so money from tariffs, which the citizens pay? sounds like raising taxes with extra steps.
And only on poor people whose necessary consumption is a larger percentage of their overall income.
I’m pretty sure a lot of americans have no clue about USA wanting to tariff Canada/Mexico, and also that a lot of them think that it’s Canada/Mexico that will pay for those tariffs, somehow, but not them.
