A meeting at the White House between Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Trump descended into a bitter argument in front of the press in extraordinary scenes as Trump demanded that Zelenskyy show more gratitude to his administration, while accusing him of ‘disrespecting the US’.
Trump also told him that he needs to make a deal with Putin or ‘we are out’, threatening to cut US support for Kyiv.
Trump is definitely also an idiot.
I feel like that rethoric does more harm than good. You don’t accidentally mobilize and radicalize a large part of the American people. That is calculated behavior. Everyone not taking him seriously are part of the problem.
