Fun fact, the Hawaiian Pizza was invented in Canada by a Greek immigrant because he was inspired to make something resembling sweet and sour Chinese food.
It’s named after the brand of canned pineapples he used.

I absolutely love the idea that somewhere someone really important had to have the conversation discussing whether or not the right to claim creative rights to Hawaiian pizza should be core curriculum or not. Lol

“An” with words that start with an H bother the hell out of me. Unless you’re not pronouncing the H, it sounds weird to say “an” here. Makes sense with an English accent I guess, but it’s annoying when Americans do it, cause we pronounce all these Hs.

It honestly bothers me too, but I stole this meme and didn’t feel like fixing it. I learned today that I’m more lazy than pedantic.

(Edit: went ahead and fixed it)

Heyyy, fun fact: lemmy allows fully editing posts. I just manually erased the “n” and re-uploaded.

Don’t Brits use “an” with ‘h’ words? Pretty sure they do. Not sure about Canadians.
