There is no middle ground for “I get that we’re both worried about the economy but since you are fully economically illiterate and have zero empathy for working class people I suppose we can do a half-measure that will ultimately not work very well just to make you feel better.”

I do not compromise with fascists, and if you truly believe that the middle ground hasn’t been abandoned then maybe you need to wake up and realize that the vast majority is either already on it or to the right of it. The Democrats are not leftists, they are centrists at best save for a small handful of them. Infinitely better than the GOP, this is not a both sides issue, but holy fuck the scales are not balanced.
