Searching a trustworthy source to download

Downloading

Wanna install

Install it

Your pc do funny stuff

You realize that website is not trustworthy anymore

Wipe all and start clean

Yet again you want to install loots

Downloading

But this time, you want to be sure you are not getting infected again

This is what I want to ask. From more technical point of view related to protecting ourselves from malware when installing pirated softare.

Virustotal,MetaDefender and MalwareByte scanning are not enough(for me at least) to be sure there are not any malicious code hidden.

Even in virtual machines if we run to test that software, with all sys internals on a prepared windows virtual machine with tools from FlareVM, there are chances that the malware will check for some identifiers in order to stop the malicous execution.

I found this guide but I want to know if there are more like this where its described more things related to how to make a virtual machine look like a real machine to fool the malware in order to detonate itself.

So, what you could recommend for a more deep analysing of pirated loots to see if there are no danger in it?

AND DONT START WITH LOOK AT THE MEGATHREAD!!

A trustworth website can be easily turn in dangerous one (AllPCWorlds,themicrotech,4download) for examples. We should be able to protected ourselves and we need to know how
