I’ve taken to using one of those tripod hammock baskets when I’m out and about shooting. Not so much for stability (for which the benefit is marginal), but to have a convenient storage place at hand for changing lenses, etc. I was surprised at how much easier this makes things, especially with my clunky camera and setup. It’s almost like having an assistant.
