Haven’t watched the match yet. Do you think it is worth disputing the second yellow ? We’re starting to run out of defenders!

We’ll be fine on defenders, Tierney’s there and Holding doesn’t even make the squad yet, and he’s fine in a pinch.

100% but I don’t think the PGMOL will overturn it. Two very very harsh yellows but they will say it was fair. Do they increase the suspension for failed appeals?

I think they can, so that’s the risk.

I must say, it’s a relief to not be the one in the injury crisis for once. Not that we don’t have our own injuries, but we’re a lot better off than some others.

AWFC not included cuz fuckkkkking hellll

If the Saudis offer £100 million it will be hard to say no. Can we do it without him? Sure. Should we?

      Probs not.

Get Rob Holding to change his name legally so they get confused about which Gabriel they’re going for. We sell him and we’ll just need to get someone to replace him lol.

What’s going on with Gabi? I get that there’s Saudi interest but am I the only one who thinks we’d be crazy to let him go unless it was an absolutely insane offer? Yes, he can over commit at times and make bad decisions leading to goals, but I feel that’s a little bit due to how we played last year as we saw similar mistakes from Saliba too. Plus he’s great offensively from set pieces.

I think we saw last year that given his faults, a Gabi/Saliba pairing is still one of the best in the PL. Why try to fix what wasn’t really broken. Plus then we can move Benny Blanco back out wide and stop the Partey experiment. Or am I alone and everyone thinks we need to move on?

I think like the gaffer said it’s tactical; in games like these where we’re expected to be on the front foot and attacking a bunch, Gabriel’s defensive solidity isn’t worth as much as White’s overlapping runs. Makes me wonder if Tierney at CB could be something we experiment with.

Hein’s playing in the Pizza Cup today, also Lewis-Skelly, Nwaneri and a few other ones near the fringes of the first team.
