Went to a running shoe store and they got me measured up and fitted. Bought some insoles since they said it could help with my plantar fasciitis.

I guess I feel less pain at the end of the day. I hope it will be better once I get new shoes.

So far it’s been ok, but what helped was someone on lemmy told me to run landing on my midfoot instead of the heel so that has been helping. I’ve adjusted my walking gait to shorter strides and that had helped to land on midfoot as well. So far, eliminated my pain.

It’s also nice to wear sandals with good arch support around the house or wherever. Don’t just go barefoot.

How is your footfall when you’re running? I try to run with a mid foot fall rather than heel toe. Takes some gerting used to. I wear doc Martens at work. I started getting hip pain ten years ago and they’re what my doctor reccomended. Havent had any issues since then. He said you don’t really want anything too squishy, but that is probably not the case for foot pain.
